AN Eight-week Deepening Program

Equanimity in the Breath

Deepening the Perception of

Your Supple Voice

April 3 - MaY 29 (online)

You’ve begun the journey. You’ve felt glimpses of ease and presence in your voice.

But this is just the beginning.

This 8-week deepening program is an opportunity to return to the work with greater awareness, to refine what you’ve already experienced, and to uncover new layers of freedom in your voice.

Singing is not about force—it is about presence. And presence deepens over time.

If something in you is calling to continue, this is your invitation.

Singing as a Path of Transformation...

This journey is not just about learning to sing. It is about becoming whole.

Your voice is not separate from you—it is a reflection of your deepest self,
your presence, your being
.

From childhood, we are shaped by forces that fragment us—education, trauma, social conditioning, and the pressure to prove, perfect, or perform.

This fragmentation affects our voice. It creates tension, hesitation, and an unconscious holding back of our full presence.

But there is another way.

When we approach singing through A Supple Voice, we are not just exercising our vocal cords. We are awakening to our unconscious habits and learning to move beyond them with awareness, trust, and presence.

Through this work, you are not just finding your voice—you are finding yourself.

What we will explore together

This program is not about learning more—it’s about perceiving more. We will revisit the core exercises with expanded awareness, refining how tone, breath, and presence flow through your voice.

Key Areas of Deepening:

This work follows the natural rhythm of transformation:

Encounter → Experience → Return

Each time we revisit an exercise, it reveals something new.

  • Refining the first Three Tuning Exercises – MF, MVRS and Ring -practicing going deeper into relaxation and staying in awake presence at the same time.

  • Deepening the Two-Fold Exercise – Working through all speech sound combinations, first in free flow, then in a rhythm of three, and finally in a rhythm of two (for the true name of the exercise).

  • We will continue to engage the belly muscles in both directions so that the muscles learn to be in just the right tonis, not too flabby and not too tight.

  • Integrating the Three-Fold Exercise – Exploring additional speech sounds and sound combinations while continuing work with the four liquid and four blowing sounds.

  • Unfolding the Four-Fold Exercise – Opening new dimensions of resonance and tonal awareness, allowing for a more expansive and refined vocal presence.

  • Flowing into Deeper Variations of the Sound Stream Exercises – Cultivating a more fluid and living tone experience, refining the balance between breath, tone, and resonance.

  • Illuminating Chapter 1 of Werbeck’s Book – Deepening our understanding of the spiritual and physiological dimensions of singing, placing our journey within the greater unfolding of the voice.

  • WHAT YOU WILL GAIN

🔹 A deeper sense of trust in your voice and its natural unfolding

🔹 More ease, fluidity, and freedom in singing and speaking

🔹 A greater connection between voice, breath, and body

🔹 The ability to recognize and shift vocal habits with awareness, not force

🔹 A sense of equanimity—meeting both voice and life with calm, wakefulness, and trust

🔹 A growing ability to perceive subtle shifts that lead to profound transformation

  • WHO THIS PROGRAM IS FOR

🔹You felt something shift in the first course and are curious to explore more.

🔹 You don’t want to lose the progress you’ve made—you want to deepen it.

🔹 You sense that your voice is part of a larger unfolding in your life.

🔹 You are drawn to exploring sound not just technically, but as a path of self-discovery.

🔹 You want to feel more freedom in your voice—without force or strain.

If any of these resonate, this next step is for you.

This is not a journey of perfection.

It is a journey of presence.

  • How Do You Know If You’re Ready?

Many students ask me, “How will I know if I’m ready to continue?”

    The answer is simple:
You do not need to be ready—you only need to be willing.

This is not about mastering an exercise.
It is about deepening into perception.

The voice does not grow through force, but through awareness and presence.

If you feel called to continue, I invite you to take this next step.

Still have Questions?

If you’re feeling a pull to continue but want to clarify something first, I’d love to hear from you.

Your Voice is Already Whole.
Will You Uncover It?

If you are feeling the call to continue—don’t overthink it.

This work is not about readiness. It is about willingness.

Your voice is already waiting. Your presence is already here.

Will you meet it?

Final Thoughts

If you’re feeling drawn to continue but wondering whether to take the leap, ask yourself:

🌿 What did I experience in these first 6 weeks that I don’t want to lose?
🌿 What more could be revealed if I keep going?
🌿 What would it feel like to trust the process and let my voice unfold naturally?

This journey is not about achieving—it is about uncovering.

I would love to walk this next part of the journey with you.

With warmth and music,
Shannon
